What makes a custom suit CUSTOM?

The only limitations to custom suit making is the imagination.

This jacket is a commissioned piece that lends itself to the versatility of custom tailoring.

But, as outlandish as it may seem, there is no limit to the imagination of our tailors and the needs of our customers.

Pick-stitching

Pick-stitchingPick-stitching runs around the perimetre of a sewn and turned edge, which before the days of silicone and glue, held together the two edges and gave the garment a noticable custom finish.

Under Collar

Pick-stitchingThe under collar is composed of a compound of materials called "melton".

This melton is one layer of horsehair, and one layer of felt. Once the collar upper is firmly attached, it is folded back onto itself and is stitched in place on top of the melton.

The collar upper contrasts with the remainder of the jacket, also known as a "chesterfield".

We assume you will be wearing our product with the collar in its proper place of course!

Breast Pocket/Liner

Pick-stitchingThe breast pocket has been replaced by a double-welted, leather-flapped, pick-stitched in red silk thread.

The pocket's liner could have been grey or black, but it's something more than that. It's the attention to the small details that seperates a truly custom piece from the ordinary.

Contrasting Buttons

Pick-stitchingContrasting buttons and buttonholes give the jacket a very modern feel.
